Business Services supports The Shriver Center administratively, fiscally and by overseeing the technological needs of the Center. The staff of seven performs a wide variety of functions including, but not limited to:

  • Administrative management of the office which includes the reception area
  • Event planning which can include space rental, arranging catering, and the purchasing of supplies
  • Processing of payroll including onboarding and exiting employees
  • Purchasing supplies, equipment and services by various means
  • Processing payments and reimbursements to employees
  • Making travel arrangements and processing travel reimbursements
  • Training new employees in business functions
  • Grants management from pre-award to post-award
  • Addressing technological needs and providing technical assistance
