Business Services supports The Shriver Center administratively, fiscally and by overseeing the technological needs of the Center. The staff of seven performs a wide variety of functions including, but not limited to:
- Administrative management of the office which includes the reception area
- Event planning which can include space rental, arranging catering, and the purchasing of supplies
- Processing of payroll including onboarding and exiting employees
- Purchasing supplies, equipment and services by various means
- Processing payments and reimbursements to employees
- Making travel arrangements and processing travel reimbursements
- Training new employees in business functions
- Grants management from pre-award to post-award
- Addressing technological needs and providing technical assistance
